The Take pArt Challenge is a visual art challenge for 11-14 year olds in London & Essex.

Supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation and delivered by the national charity Children & the Arts, the programme challenges young people and art teachers to have a go at making some art! No matter how experienced you are, we welcome all entries and it’s free to apply.

There are prizes worth up to £1000 to be won for young people and their schools, and shortlisted artwork will be exhibited at the V&A Museum of Childhood.

The Take pArt Challenge website is full of lots of online resources to inspire young people, plus there are six free teacher training events happening over the summer in galleries across London & Essex.
